On-site 45-Hour Broker Licensing Course 

           

The 45 hour Broker Licensing Course also qualifies for 22.5 hours of Real Estate Continuing Education. 

Note: As of July 1, 2008, broker license applicants will be required to show proof of completing 120 hours of approved education. Broker applicants will be required to show proof of completing either:

  • The 45 hour Salesperson course (offered prior to 7/1/08), the 30 Hour Remedial Course and the 45 hour Broker course OR
  • the 75 Salesperson course and the 45 hour Broker course. 

    Tuition for 45-hr Broker Qualifying Course:  $300  

    Required Textbook: 

    • The Modern Real Estate Practice in New York State for Brokers, 10th Ed
    • Text is required PRIOR to the start of the class, as there is required reading before course begins!
    • Text available at GRAR for $35 (tax included).  For an additional fee of $7.00, we will mail your textbook directly to you. 

    2010 Broker Course Will Be offered once:

    Monday - Friday, October 4 - 8: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Saturday, October 9: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Monday - Friday, October 11 - 15: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Final Exam: October 15: 12:00 PM - 3:00 P

    Notes:

  • When you are ready to register for a course and pay by credit card, you must first log in as a Member with your member IDs or as a Non-Member (by providing your name, mailing address, e-mail address and a password).   

  • Registrations may be made online (preferred method) or by check (mail/in person), phone or fax.   

  • Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.  

  • If paying by check, please complete and mail this registration form with your tuition to: GRAR, 930 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14607. The GRAR fax number is (585) 292-0283.  

  • When registering online you will receive an e-receipt.  GRAR does not send confirmation letters, and will only contact you if there is a problem.

Tuition refund policy for students enrolled in Pre-Licensing Courses:

Students who cancel out of an on-site course will be subject to a 20% service charge. Tuition transfers will be allowed, however tuition may be transferred only once within a six (6) month period. Student agrees that any refund requested on transferred tuition is subject to a 20% service charge.

  • GRAR will NOT refund tuition in the event of

         a) student's failure to cancel before course start date; or
