The REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RCF) has entered into a partnership with NeighborWorks® Rochester, adopting a small target area, in support of the Healthy Blocks initiative in the North Winton Village neighborhood. Since January, 2001, RCF has made grants of over $386,600 to 33 not-for-profit organizations, including Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation (emergency home repair program); Dimitri House; Habitat for Humanity of Ontario County (house in Honeoye); Hillside Children’s Center; Wilson Commencement Park; The Rochester Fire Department (thousands of smoke detectors); Family Service of Rochester, Inc.; Sojourner House; East House; Corn Hill Neighbors Association; The Center for Youth; YWCA; Mercy Residential Services and the new Ronald McDonald "House Within a Hospital" atop Golisano Children's Hospital (only the third such facility in the world).
