Salesperson's Licensing Course

New York State has passed a law increasing the requirement for a Salesperson from a 45 hour course to a 75 hour course effective July 1, 2008. A salesperson license applicant will be required to show proof of completing 75 hours of approved education. Those salesperson applicants who completed the 45 hour salesperson course prior to July 1, 2008 may complete the additional 30-Hour Remedial Qualifying course to satisfy the 75 hour requirement.

14 Day Pre-registration fee for 75 hour course is $350, $390 thereafter.

Class size limited to 52 students.

Students are required to purchase the textbook New York Real Estate Sales: The Complete Guide, PRIOR to the start of the class, as there is required reading before course begins! The textbook is available for $45.00 (tax included). For an additional fee of $7.00, we will mail your textbook directly to you.

Note: Due to the recent increases in licensing requirements from the DOS coupled with the current state of the economy, GRAR acknowledges that these circumstances may have an impact on attracting individuals to the real estate industry. As a result GRAR will be lowering the registration fees for the 30-hour Remedial ("Gap"), 75-hour Salesperson, and 45-hour Broker licensing courses through the end of 2008.

Salesperson's Licensing Course Schedule

November 3-14 Session:

Class Dates: Nov. 3-7 & 10-13 from 8am-5:15pm; Nov. 14, 8am-11am

Final Exam: Nov. 14, Noon-3pm

Note: When you are ready to register for a course and pay by credit card, you must first log in as a Member with your member IDs or as a Non-Member (by providing your name, mailing address, e-mail address and a password).

Registrations may be made online (preferred method) or by check (mail/in person), phone or fax.
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.

When registering online you will receive an e-receipt. GRAR does not send confirmation letters, and will only contact you if there is a problem.
